Tagging:

We have several videos on how to properly hang and tag items for the sale.  Check out our You Tube Channel:

Pricing:

To Increase your profits:

*Only bring items in GREAT condition, less than five years old, and in working condition.

*Price between 40% and 50% of what you paid for the item, taking into consideration age, condition, style, and brand.

*Price on the LOWER end for newborn and junior clothing, value brands (Like Carters, Garanimals, Old Navy).

*Price on the HIGHER end for large play items and baby gear (in nearly new condition), large toys, name brand and boutique brands (Gymboree, Janie & Jack, Justice, Ralph Lauren, etc)

*ALWAYS price most or all of your items for HALF PRICE day. We have lots of shoppers that buy in bulk on this day. You can maximize your total revenues if you tag your items for 1/2 off day and end of picking up fewer unsold items.   Those who price items at half price receive, on average, a check 50% greater than sellers that price only for full price.

How to Get Started and Quick Tips:

• Separate the items you are consigning into categories; clothing (separate by gender and then by size), toys, books, accessories, etc. before you start tagging.

•Group items together (if possible), like pairing pants with a shirt (as long as it is the same size and same manufacturer), several books together, place small accessories together, etc.

• We sell 80% of these items: strollers, high chairs, bouncers, swings, bassinets, exer-saucers, outdoor play equipment, basketball nets, kitchens, tool benches, train tables, ride on toys, bikes, wagons, rockers, pack n plays, and toys, toys and toys!

Consignor Drop Off:

  • Don't forget to sign up for a drop off time!  You can do so by going to your "My Closet" and clicking on "Sign Up for a Drop Off Time".
  •  At drop off, be prepared to have a volunteer check through your items before you put them on the sales floor.  Our volunteers will be looking for the following things when checking your items:
    • Clothing needs to be stain free, freshly laundered, in "nearly new" condition and in style.
    • While our sale is an All Season Sale, we do have some items, that due to space limitations, we only permit during the appropriate seasons sale.  For our Spring/Summer sale, we will not accept snow pants/suits, snow boots of any kind or fall/winter accessories.   For our Fall/Winter sale, we will not accept tank tops, swimwear, sandals or spring/summer accessories.  Anything that is not season appropriate will be pulled from the sales floor. For our Holiday sale, we will not accept strappy/tank tops, swimwear, shorts, sandals/flip flops/water shoes, or spring/summer accessories.
  • Shoes sell best when zip-tied together.  If you put them in ziploc bags, please tape the bags shut, so shoes are not separated from their sales tag.  Remember that if shoes are in ziploc bags, then customers will not be able to try them on if needed.
  • Blankets should be packaged in ziploc bags (preferred method) to prevent them from getting dirty.
  • Toys need to be clean and have all the pieces attached or included.  Please be sure all small pieces are in a ziploc bag, and attached to the main toy.
  • Battery operated toys and equipment need to have working batteries in them.  If the batteries are not working, the customer doesn't know if the item works or not, and the item will be pulled from the sales floor.
  • All large items need to be cleaned properly - Exersaucers and high chairs need to be wiped down, and the seat covers should be run through the washing machine.  This goes for strollers and swings as well.  No one wants to buy something that has baby food solidified on it! :0)
  •  PLEASE NOTE:  We are no longer accepting VHS tapes, "grab bags" of toys, or items best suited for a garage sale.  This is a CHILDREN'S consignment sale, if your items don't pertain to children, please know they will be pulled from the sales floor, and donated if not picked up.
  • Children are always welcome at our sales, but you may find it more productive if you can make other arrangements for those not old enough to help you place things on the sales floor.
