Meet Andrew & Lauren Fares
For Andrew and Lauren Fares, becoming the owners of Adams County Kids Closet Connection wasn't just a business oppurtunity-it was a chance to give back to the community they love.
In June 2026, Andrew and Lauren, along with their two young children, proudly became the new owners of Adams County Kids Closet Connection. They feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve a community that has supported their family over the years.
Lauren's journey with KCC began when a close friend invited her to shop the sale. After years of collecting bins upon bins of clothes for her daughter, she decided to become a consignor herself. What started as a way to clear out gently used children's items quickly turned into a passion. After several successful seasons consigning alongside her best friend, Lauren turned to her best friend and said, "What if we buy the kids sale?"
As both a shopper and consignor, Lauren experienced firsthand the impact Kids Closet has on local families. Lauren says, "It's so special to walk in and see all the smiling faces, hear the stories and watch children's clothing and baby gear find new homes. Watching this sale serve our community has always been a blessing. Now it's even more exciting to have the opportunity to lead such an incredible team."
Lauren manages the adminsitrative and business side of the sale while also focusing on growing community awareness and expanding its reach. Andrew, along with their amazing family and friends, provides the muscle behind the scenes- setting up, moving equipment and helping wherever needed to keep everything running smoothly.
Together, Andrew and Lauren are excited to build on the strong foundation that Kyle and Laura have already set. Continuing to create an exceptional shopping and consigning experience, and make an even greater impact on families throughout the community.
